....not Rangers v Celtic but the Management Council V Staff !
Theresults in the last three years have seen two halved matches and victory to the Staff  last year.........but.....a victory in 2009 to the Council by 4 games to 2 and can now add their name to the trophy as winners.

A very strong Council team lost only their first and last games.

 lost v Head Greenkeeper Stephen Hunter & Mike Mears.

Members should not be overly worried today -Monday 8th- that the Green Staff are digging up the 8th Green.
This is not an act of vengence just because they lost their games yesterday, its the start of the 2009/10 Course Improvement Project as in line with the 10 Year Course Plan.

Our Head Grenkeeper has much worse lined up, for next season there will be an open ditch running immediately in front of the 8th Green to negotiate as well earlier on the right and then left of the 8th faiway.
