Strathaven Golf Club's resident PGA Professional is Stuart Kerr. Stuart has been at the club since February 2002 and since then he has not only revitalised the coaching side of things but also turned the existing shop into what many now call the "Stuart Kerr Superstore".

Stuart is very proud of his coaching accolade within the golfing industry and is currently coaching 11 other professionals many of whom are players on Scotland's Tartan Tour. What makes our professional so special however, is his ability to extend the same level of enthusiasm, effort and achievements from this elite level right down to the very beginners who have never even picked up a club. In Stuart's mind no-one is too young / old to take up this great sport and what's more, you don't even have to be a member of the club to get a lesson from Stuart (prices found below).

The professional's shop at Strathaven as said above is second to none and is fully stocked at bargain prices for all your golfing requirements. The clothing side of the business deals with all popular brands including but not limited to: Nike, Ping, Ashworth, Adidas, Lyle and Scott, Stromberg, Daily Sport and Callaway. Juniors are also catered for both in clothing and hardware from ages 3 onwards.
