Senior Gents Open Texas Scramble (4 man teams) Rules

This is a strokeplay team competition played from the white tees at Strathaven Golf Club. Players must be aged 60 or over on the day of the competition and be in possession of a valid CDH number that is linked to the World Handicap System (WHS). The team playing handicap will be decided using the SGU guidelines of 25%, 20%, 15% and 10% from lowest handicap to highest handicap of the players playing handicap on the day of the competition.
Any player in the team on the day of the competition with a Handicap Index of 23.5 or greater will have their playing handicap reduced to a maximum 26 before team handicap adjustment.
All players in the team must contribute a minimum of 3 tee shots/drives.
Any team withdrawing from the competition within 28 days of the date of the competition will not receive a refund.
Substitutions to the teams will be allowed up to 24 hours prior to the competition.
Any Player/Team not complying with the rules of the competition will disqualify the Team.
