Calum, as well as all the Professional Shop team pride themselves on being able to provide the best level of service possible. A fully stocked shop as well as the introduction of an indoor golf studio and putting studio allow the facility to be a one stop shop for your golfing requirements.
Working at some of the leading golf facilities in Scotland gave Calum a great background in customer service and an education in all things golf.
Calum started his Professional career at Blairgowrie golf club where he left his position as Head Assistant Professional in 2013 to concentrate on playing and teaching. In 2015 Calum started as a teaching Professional at Gleneagles before taking up the role as Head Professional at Linlithgow Golf Club. Calum was then appointed Head PGA Professional at Strathaven Golf club in 2019.
Calum has a strong teaching background, he has taught multiple winners on the Tartan Tour as well as multiple national champions at junior level. Calum has also been chosen by the PGA of Scotland to promote and teach at the Scottish Open in 2014 & 2015, as well as at the British Women's Open in 2013.

GREGOR RAMSAY
Assistant PGA professional
Gregor has been part of Calum's Professional Team since 2019. During his time with Strathaven, Gregor has passed his PGA Foundation Degree making him a fully qualified PGA Professional having previously studied Professional Golf at Elmwood College.
When he is not playing in PGA Tournaments, Gregor is available to book for lessons and custom fittings both on the golf course and in the golf studio.
Gregor is responsible for the Club's annual Easter & Summer Holiday Camps for our Junior golfers.
